Lisa + Ryan // Santa Ana

“We had the most amazing wedding day with Becca! She made both of us so comfortable, and was so helpful, kind, and flexible throughout the day. We felt the best part (aside from the amazing pictures) was how she felt like such a natural part of our group. We are not a couple who feels natural in front of the camera, but she felt like part of the wedding crew and made everything feel so relaxed. She also helped us to work around some unexpected challenges (construction, crowds, etc.) and still found the best light and angles. The wedding party raved about her, and we had a great time chatting with her in the downtime. We would absolutely hire her again in a heartbeat for any event we have in the future. We all loved her, and even toasted to her at her departure. She is the absolute best!”

Lisa + Ryan must’ve had their finger on the pulse of what was about to come. Alongside their immediate family and two best friends, they married in intimate ceremony at the Old Orange County Courthouse, followed by an early dinner at Mix Mix down the road. (The restaurant was open to the public, but they reserved a table for right when it opened and literally had the entire place to themselves. Perfection!) There were a couple of toasts, some stellar champagne, a lot of tears, even more laughter, delicious food and an incredibly chill vibe that felt entirely them. I had the most amazing time with their group and almost cried when they toasted my departure.

If you’re looking to change up your previously-laid plans or are being forced to scale back thanks to coronavirus/covid-19/social distancing guidelines, take some solace in this: you can still have the most joy-filled day, no matter the size of the guest list. And at the end of it all, you’ll be married to your love. Ugh, I know it’s corny but it’s TRUE. (And if you’re the extroverted type who simply cannot and kinda wants to punch me in the face right now, know this - you can have an epic celebration once we’ve flattened the curve. And you’ll have the best stories to tell your grandkids - trust.)
